Operational Finance Coordinator - Full Remote Work

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles

Experience with Smartsheets, Paylocity, QuickBooks, and/or Redbooth a plus!

Experience around process improvement with example of cost savings projects

Experience working with cross functional and international teams,

-BA/BS degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance, or management preferred

-Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders

-Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills

-Research, analyze, coordinate, and respond to incoming inquiries regarding status of purchase orders, invoices, and payments.

⦁ Prepare financials and key indicators for business reviews, management reporting, budget and strategic planning.

They are looking for a strong Finance Director of Operations.

-There are no Direct Reports in the roles and no Accounting responsibilities.

Some of the keys and must-haves to this role:

-Responsible for 3 US Locations-NC, San Fran and MA

⦁ Develop and administer accurate weekly and monthly forecasting and full budgetary responsibility.

The core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Additionally you will have regular liaison with our London office.

Manage plant level financial analysis and review processes.

Manage process for expense forecasting and budgeting Operations projected financial results.

Manage CapEx forecasting process, tracking, analysis, and reporting.

Serve as primary finance business partner for Operations team and Milo’s plants.

Maintain finance operations metrics and return analysis for ongoing operations and capital investments.

Solid project management and problem-solving capabilities

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required. Major in Accounting or Finance. MBA or CPA highly preferred

Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication/presentation skills and overall business acumen required

Reports to: VP Finance –Clean Air

Strong cost accounting and manufacturing analysis background.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Advanced Excel), OneStream, and SAP

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Administration/Management; previous higher education experience preferred

Managing administrative staff (currently six direct reports) and serves as hiring manager for both administrative and technical staff positions

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance required; Master’s degree in Business/Business Administration preferred

Champion change management program associated with enterprise-wide finance transformation and ERP implementation initiative.

Provide operational leadership while supporting corporate business plans, related objectives, and budget requirements.

Thorough knowledge of shared services processes / best practices, accounting principles, and internal controls.

Broad understanding of interactions between Core Finance Operations, Project Finance Operations, other Finance functions, Business Services Groups, and Operating Groups.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication skills (both written and oral).

Experience in leading process excellence and performance improvement.

Internship experience, or 1-2 years of experience preferred

Experienced Strategic Finance and Operations Leader

●Strong organizational and time management skills.

●Facility: Support Operations Manager in the management of the Literacy Connects’ physical infrastructure, campus, and system maintenance.

●Manage and track restricted revenue (TRNA) and maintain updated grid of release from restriction.

●Policy: Maintain GAAP-compliant finance policies, procedures, and operations.

●Confidentiality: Coordinate team of ombudsman trained in conflict resolution and manage systems of accountability of confidential reporting

●Vendors: Manage relationship with Human Resources contractor. Seek qualified advice on HR matters as needed.

Support the preparation of Senior Management presentations and monthly/quarterly reporting.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA preferred
