Excellent administrative and organizational skills with the proven ability to multi-task and to work efficiently to meet client deliverables

Leading the execution and management of new investments in all sectors;

7+ years’ experience with at least 3 years spent in Private Equity;

Experience in energy transition, renewables or infrastructure;

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills: exceptional critical thinking, quantitative, and analytical skills;

The VP will be responsible for:

Conducting due diligence and financial analysis on potential investment opportunities;

Assist with new projects and help manage the daily operations of existing funds

Create and update marketing materials (presentations, factsheets, due diligence questionnaire, thought leadership pieces etc.) across the suite of event driven funds

Liaise with internal sales force and marketing, shareholder services, legal, and BAI teams

Coordinate/attend client and prospect meetings, including pitching for new business, reviewing portfolios/conducting portfolio analysis, and creating market updates

Coordinate the operational due diligence meeting process, involving communication with internal groups, including risk, legal, and operations

Assist in recruiting, management, and coaching of Bank team members.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Technology and Healthcare ecosystem, Fund Banking industry, Venture Capital industry and Stifel’s broad product offerings.

Advanced knowledge of VC/PE ecosystem and Fund Banking offerings.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience required.

Effective communication skills to properly interact with and pitch prospective and existing clients, as well as colleagues across the Stifel platform.

Prior experience managing a portfolio of Fund Banking relationships at a previous financial institution strongly preferred.

BS/BA with major in Accounting, Economics, Finance, General Business, or Management preferred, with outstanding academic record

8-10+ years of relevant work experience, including project management experience

Experience with workflow and project management software

Outstanding organizational and data management skills

Act as a player-coach and manage and develop relationships

Build and manage a team, including through the recruiting and onboarding of new team members

Experience with P&L production and P&L driver analyses, preferably in the Alternative Asset Management industry

3-6 years of relevant experience working within a role that requires analyses at a micro and macro level

Knowledge of private investment vehicles would be a strong plus

Effective storyboarding skills and ability to crystallize problems and summarize key issues and challenges

Consolidate financial data to build the quarterly Illiquid Investments business forecast and present to business leaders

Analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative); internship in investment banking, management consulting or financial services firm is a plus

Contributing member of the Alternatives Manager Research team, with responsibilities throughout the investment process
