Previous work experience performing commercial and operational due diligence in venture capital, investment banking or management consulting

Systematic Sourcing Improvements led by tracking historical conversion rates and program feedback and improving corresponding materials used in the sourcing process.

3+ years of experience in finance, data, and/or software engineering capacity

3+ years of experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Statistics, Quantitative Finance, and Software Engineering

Able to seamlessly switch between research, development, and product management

Manage release, rollout, and deployment of data-related products

Strong experience in SQL for querying databases

Develop new tools and improve existing tools used to create and test OpenInvest’s investment methodologies

5+ years of experience in investment research, analysis, or portfolio management with a deep passion for sustainable and impact investing.

Compensation will be determined by a number of factors including educational background and experience.

Conduct due diligence on all approved and new managers and funds.

Assist wealth managers with portfolio construction, attend client meetings, and support new client prospecting efforts as needed.

A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; an MBA or CFA is a plus.

Knowledge of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Impact metrics and their application in portfolios.

Support the CAI compliance program to ensure management of corporate and legal obligations, appropriate controls, and adherence to regulatory requirements

Manage CAI’s record-keeping program and ensure adherence to FINRA and SEC record-keeping requirements

The ability to effectively communicate across various lines of business and with senior management

Ability to work with individuals across business lines, including product teams, operations groups, legal teams, project management, and executive leadership

Monitor the firm’s continuing education training program and develop report(s) to illustrate status and deadlines, on a periodic basis

3+ years of broker-dealer compliance experience

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

Help drive transaction origination, structuring, execution, and portfolio management

Oversee portfolio management and engagement, including valuation and KPI tracking, and leveraging cross-Firm resources to support investees

Manage a deal team and oversee deal processes: conduct detailed business due diligence, review of legal documentation, and comprehensive financial analyses

Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills

Experience formulating diligence plans, leading communication with third-parties (e.g., legal counsel), and managing deal teams

Ensure timely and accurate counseling data input into Center IC client information management system.

Small Business Counseling, Training, And Reporting Requirements

Interview and assess client needs.

Develop a resource network to be used in providing referrals to appropriate resources.

Plan and market no- to low-cost training on subjects relevant to small business start-up and growth.

Evaluate programs’ effectiveness and measure impact of services provided.

Generate new investment ideas in partnership with broader Kanbrick team

Market and drivers: size market bottoms up and evaluate growth trends and drivers

Company identification: identify companies and executives for potential investments
