Upstream Engineers Jobs

* 8+ years of Biotechnology industry experience leading upstream mammalian cell culture process development.

Preferred Candidate Background and Expertise:

* MS or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biology or related Life Sciences field.

Knowledge of performing preventive maintenance on all types and brands of boilers.

At least 2 years of experience performing boiler testing, maintenance, and service

Experience on boiler fire control systems and understand all aspects of boiler safety and operation

Operate and maintain steam boilers or hot water generators and associated equipment, including compressors, cooling towers, pumps, fans.

Troubleshoot and repair commercial Boiler systems to including, oil- and gas-fired boilers and control systems.

Strong understanding of Combustion setting for oil and gas boilers.

Complies with specific EHS program requirements (i.e, forklift operations, Ergonomics Program, LockOut/TagOut, and Process Safety Management) as applicable.

Environmental compliance with permits and action plans (applies to supervisors and managers)

One (1) to three (3) years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, preferable.

Experience working as a Supervisor or leader role.

Knowledgeable in cGMPs and pharmaceutical industry applicable regulations.

This position reports into Operations Manager and is based at Las Piedras, PR.

Candidates with university education in engineering and business, finance or economics an advantage

Manage and oversee execution of multiple assignments to ensure satisfactory outcomes are achieved for the customer and Advisian

Proactively develops Advisian's knowledge/asset base and is a known knowledge leader

Identifies strategies to impart tacit knowledge throughout the business

Strong skills in analysis and problem solving

Minimum 15 years practical industry experience

Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills.

Provide technical information and experimental assay design; data analysis and management; and instrument & project troubleshooting.

Supporting the Process Development team in the following: time management and prioritization

Degree field in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Life Science field

Ph.D. – 0-3 years; MS – 3-6 years; BS - 6-9 years

Experience managing key project workflows and overall coordination of projects in a Project Manager role

Finance, Statistics, or Engineering; Master's and/or MBA preferred

Advising an energy infrastructure group to formulate its CCUS strategy and assess its internal capabilities for execution

Partner with Asset Management team to implement cost improvement projects – capitalize on synergies across the asset portfolio, including supply chain.

Partner with third parties as necessary to implement cost reduction strategies (i.e. produced water management).

Knowledge of business case and contract development related to both revenue-driving and expense-saving benefits.

Manages all gas gathering and processing contract negotiations / renegotiatons, the enforcement of gathering and processing contract terms and optimization opportunities.
