Detailed Job Description of Toxicology Screening Toxicology screening technicians are responsible for collecting and analyzing samples of bodily fluids, such as urine, blood, and saliva, to detect the presence of drugs and other toxic substances. They must be knowledgeable about the various types of tests used to detect drugs and other toxic substances, as well as the safety protocols and procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials. Toxicology screening technicians must be able to accurately interpret test results and provide detailed reports to their supervisors.
