Telecommunications Ordering Engineer Jobs

Travel and attend client kick-off meetings, project review meetings, and vendor / supplier FATs

Travel for site installation supervision, site commissioning and witnessing SATs, both onshore and offshore

Support the RigNet Quality program within SI operations to uphold the highest quality standards.

5+ years of demonstrated ability of an Operational Engineering environment preferably in the Energy Industry

Schedule technicians for installations and service calls, including holding prequalification calls before dispatching a technician and support for onsite technicians

Extensive experience in installing building cabling infrastructures including telecom installations using 66 & 110 blocks, 25-pair cables, and extending DMARCs,

Provide general product training to all team members

Research needs and provide solutions for new technology needed both in-house and for client deployments

Create/update and maintain blueprints for hardware deployments for new construction and existing facilities

Provide user training and product support for clients

Project management experience in tackling large or complex problems - preferred.

Strategic planning and management consulting - 5 years

Knowledge and capabilities with data organization and visualization tools (Smartsheet, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) preferred.

General business experience in large, multi-disciplinary organizations – 5 years

Experience understanding, managing, and cultivating stakeholder communities.

Experience in retail operations, store development and/or strategic consulting

Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to other team members.

Must have experience with Avaya VoIP systems, UC, or a UCaaS solution.

Comprehensive experience troubleshooting complex systems.

Working knowledge of Wireless networking and video conferencing systems is also a plus.

Administer the firm's telephone and voicemail system, including system programming, MAC (moves, adds, changes), and system upgrades as needed.

Collaborate with various engineering departments to ensure seamless integration and quality of service of telephony systems with other services and systems.

Perform daily reviews of systems and metrics to ensure that systems operate within Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Perform call management functions including re-routing of calls as necessary due to business requirements or emergencies or implementing business continuity

Day to day support and management of the Cisco and Avaya platforms and adjuncts

Ticket management -- requests, break fix, enhancements

Consult with end users to gather, requirements for requests or projects and determine best solution within platform capabilities

3+ years’ experience with Cisco Call Manager / Cisco Unity VM

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to gather call traces and analysis for issue resolution

Designs, Implementing and Maintaining various networks such as LAN, CAN, and voice systems in accordance with specified requirements.

Serves as a role model to less experienced personnel.

Investigating and resolving network and hardware matters of significance;

Researches, analyzes, isolates and resolving errors;

Assesses and updates older networks as needed and in accordance with specified plans.

Providing escalated Tier-2 and Tier-3 technical support on data, voice or video networks;

Experience, education or certification in service management (ITSM and ITIL)

4-year degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or combination of experience and education

Document and update training material found in Knowledge Base articles in FreshDesk and on the SharePoint site.

4+ years of management and team development experience

6+ years of progressive experience as a product owner or program manager

Support the growth and development of a high-performing team of program and deployment managers.

6+ years experience working across technology and marketing organizations

Agile Product Owner or HCD Certifications a plus!

We are looking for Network engineers who are interested in developing their career in 5G Network space.

Some of the Must have are:

Exp with Juniper routers, Siena switch, uplinks to actual CRAN UR Routers

Exp in installation and deployment of network equipment

Strong Understanding of networking protocols, switching, routing

Work hand-in-hand with project management on technical issues

Specific product knowledge and hands-on configuration experience on a variety of vendors (i.e. Nokia, Cisco, Ciena, Fujitsu, etc. OTN/DWDM/IP-MPLS/Packet Transport

Specific product knowledge and hands-on configuration and procurement experience on a variety of Network vendors.

Knowledge of network power systems and requirements

Knowledge or experience with, but not limited to, configuration of Telecommunication equipment and networking test sets are desirable

Knowledge of optical transport engineering principles, guides and standards

Experience as a remote worker demonstrating time management and self discipline with cultural change management and Agile mindset.

Work with personnel and facilities management to install, remove, or relocate user connectivity equipment and devices.
