Sr Technical Operations Project Manager Jobs in Ohio

Experience with Federal Transportation Administration (FTA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), or Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) requirements or guidance required.

10+ years of experience in transportation related projects, public rail, transportation security and /or emergency management projects preferred.

2+ years staff management experience.

Provide Safety Risk assessments for projects or programs including safety certification.

Proven experience (7+ years) in program/project management, with a focus on data-related initiatives

Experience in risk management and the ability to anticipate and address potential project roadblocks

Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance, data analytics, and data security

Proficient in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, JIRA)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with business and technical stakeholders

Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes

Proven experience as a subject matter expert in the discipline of project management.

Develops, models and coaches/trains/mentors the Project Management Methodology.

Facilitates quality systems, continuous process improvement, and project-related change management in accordance with the needs of the organization.

Proven ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management.

Coordinates resource feedback discussions with, and provides resource feedback to, Program Leads and Program Managers.

Demonstrated experience setting goals and successfully implementing and achieving goals. Cite examples managing multiple project assignments simultaneously.

Client Management experience – proven history of managing client relationship ensuring effective and efficient communication, addressing and resolving customer complaints

Knowledge and management of KPRs/Contract oversight as well as client management are a must have.

Experience interacting internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters.

Previous experience working for State or Federal clients or worked for a company that outsources for State/Federal clients

Experience with large-scale project, with demonstrated ability to timely and efficiently lead projects which deliver high-quality operational and financial performance results

Requires in-depth knowledge of leading and/or working with functional areas and developing business strategies.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and six sigma black belt preferred.

Develops a communication management plan and leads project meetings.

Implements project management tools and techniques to orchestrate project deliverables, processes, and systems.

Develops training plans, develops requirements documents, develops project approval matrix, develops workflows; and socializes to key stakeholders.

Coordinates requirements, schedules implementation and post-implement plans and develops service-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources.

Manages and monitors ROI throughout the project lifecycle.

• Project Management PMP credentials is preferred

This position will function as a highly skilled PM that include:

• Develop scope and define project requirements.

• Facilitate requirements review meetings with the project team and business stakeholders.

• Experience with Freshservice is preferred.

• Experience with Monday.com is a preferred.

Project Management certification: (lacking project management certification, candidates must possess a minimum of 10-12+ years PM experience)

5 - 8 yrs. formal project management work experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effectively communicates with all employee levels and levels of management

Awareness of general accounting practices, related to project management - including budgeting, invoicing, purchase orders, and accounts payable

Must be proficient and have experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Project and Visio

Solid understanding of PMI principles and practices and how to put them into practice; demonstrated ability to apply PMI principals required

Strong knowledge and understanding of Distribution and Warehouse Management applications.

8+ years professional experience with at least 2 years in Technical Project Management

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Experience working with cloud technology and tools, such as ADO (Azure DevOps) or other pipeline delivery/agile management tools

Develop and execute resource plans, and communication plans, and define and execute risk management plans.

Contract and vendor management: build partnerships across organizational, departmental, and geographical boundaries.

Experience with Agile software development methodologies; Scrum Master or PMP certification a plus
