Sr Technical Operations Project Manager Jobs in Illinois

Ability to go beyond training to engage with technical teams with project management as needed

Establishes, develops, and sustains skills matrices for an entire business line.

Collaborates with operations leaders, subject matter experts, and training leaders to determine relevant skill sets and their organization.

Works with cross-functional teams to drive successful implementation of skills matrices.

Discerns software development requirements and proficiently communicates them to the development team.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and six sigma black belt preferred.

Develops a communication management plan and leads project meetings.

Implements project management tools and techniques to orchestrate project deliverables, processes, and systems.

Develops training plans, develops requirements documents, develops project approval matrix, develops workflows; and socializes to key stakeholders.

Coordinates requirements, schedules implementation and post-implement plans and develops service-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources.

Manages and monitors ROI throughout the project lifecycle.

10+ years of experience in project management with a proven track record in Change Management

3+ years change management experience

Develop and maintain a comprehensive change management plan outlining each change initiative’s scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Experience leading multiple simultaneous cross-functional programs from inception through to deployment.

Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders

Experience working with a team

Master’s degree preferred – undergraduate and/or graduate education in Business, Industrial Management, Production Management or related fields required

Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, excellent project management skills

Performance management: Develop and maintain all necessary reporting to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement

Familiarity with new product introduction, management of change, and root cause investigation is beneficial

Strong leadership in cultural change management & managing multiple complex priorities and business connections with direct and indirect stakeholders

Background in food science, chemistry, biology, or other experience in analytical characterization of bioproducts is preferred

Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.

2. Ability to demonstrate experience utilizing MS OneNote as a knowledge base and collaboration platform;

Experience managing medium to large sized project portfolios with the following criteria:

Over five (5+) years of experience with Microsoft Office suite, to include the current release version.

Working knowledge of ITIL framework to ensure efficient service delivery and improvements.

4. Experience utilizing MS M365 collaboration platforms;

Manage Projects efficiently to successful completion under quality management requirement

Minimum of 12 years cross functional project management experience

Technical skills in lean manufacturing techniques, process improvement, and materials management.

The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for the overall project management function for the operations.

Management: The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
