Superintendent Of Fleet Services Jobs

Minimum of two years’ experience in a bank card, call center, or commercial account management environment is required.

Professionally represent Jubitz in “network service management,” contacting other franchisees in pursuit of resolution to site-related complaints and incident reports.

Follow criteria set by Fleet Customer Service Manager for sales and customer service reporting.

Excellent communication skills to include reading, writing, listening, & speaking.

Ensure telephone customers receive prompt service and are not left on hold for a long period.

Greet customers and answers questions and refer them to the appropriate person or department.

Assist other areas as directed by the Assistant Director, Asset Management and the Field Maintenance Manager, Fleet

Trade School Certification or equivalent education

5 years of experience in skilled mechanical repair and diagnostic work including equipment described within the job description.

Assist Managers in budget preparation for purchase/ lease of maintenance equipment and vehicles

Maintain the knowledge and ability to operate all vehicles in the Field Maintenance snow removal fleet.

Coordinate with the MAC Safety and Environmental departments to ensure adherence to all legal requirements

One year or greater experience using and running reports in Assetworks Fleet Management Information System

Minimum Education And Experience Requirements

(One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education.)

Certified Public Fleet Professional (CPFP), Certified Automotive Fleet Specialist (CAFS), or Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM), or Certified Equipment Manager (CEM)

ASE Certification in repair, parts, or service writer

One year or greater experience using and running reports in Oracle or PeopleSoft financial system

Thorough knowledge of fleet management software.

Uses and refines the City's Faster software system to manage and track fleet inventory, repair history, fuel usage, fleet replacement, etc.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Considerable knowledge of light, medium, and heavy-duty automotive mechanics.

Schedules current and long-range work projects for the division.

Develops and implements program for vehicle pool program at key City facilities.

Responsible for leading the preparation and execution of refueling activities, dry cask campaigns, and other assigned work.

Ensures high standards and technical proficiency are developed and maintained.

Fosters development of assigned Outage Services Technicians and Supervisors.

Interfaces with site and fleet personnel to coordinate work activities.

Develops and maintains Outage Services playbooks for services provided.

Excellent organization, time management, and clerical skills.

Serves as a backup to other clerks within the department.

High School Diploma/GED and 2 years directly related experience.

Well developed verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of and ability to use office equipment such as calculator, fax machine, copier, etc.

Handles confidential record retention and reports.
