10% - Other Duties as Assigned:

Experience working with basic hand and power tools

Maintain a first-class facility including all necessary stadium maintenance.

Assist in supervising, scheduling and training part-time staff and interns.

Maintain the interior and exterior appearance of the stadium.

Work with Vice President of Operations to complete off-season projects.

Coordinating all parking lot duties, payment taking, staffing, parking of cars.

Attend all educational functions (seminars, meetings, etc.) offered by Wesco / Toro.

Interface with Field Service Advisors/Mobile Service Techs and Service Manager on technical issues and problems within their area of responsibility

Remain aware of major competition in the marketplace and be prepared to report and offer input on competitive products/training and programming.

Follow up and return Sales Manager calls and emails as high priority.

Must have excellent customer service skills

Minimum level of education is high school

Pesticide license in turf/ornamental landscaping; Turf 3L Pesticide license; Knowledge of IPM (Integrated Pest Management)

Assist with the management of inventory of grounds materials.

Assist in hiring all game day/part time staff and manage all grounds staff for our business.

Work closely with sales to ensure all field related events are properly managed and to meet customer needs.

Create and manage and inspect all Departmental and OSHA safety guidelines and regulations.

Develop and maintain working relationships with managers, coaches, umpires, etc.

Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly

Has a retail-selling emphasis (understands task-oriented questions to ask, validates customer requirements, proposes solution, offers demonstration and moves to close)

Maintains all customer information for sales management

Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management

Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods

May maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes

Minimum 5 years management experience in food-related or concessions industry.

Develops an effective management team.

Directs and assists managers in preparing and attaining future goals.

Provides each manager with the proper direction and follows up on all assignments.

Gives the managers clear direction, and provides the necessary assistance for them to provide them to perform their work.

Evaluates each manager’s performance and makes recommendations for their improvement.

Trash removal from seats and sections within the stadium

Effectively communicates with internal key stakeholders including event managers, stadium operations and hospitality provider to provide clients with the best-in-class experience.

Organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, while balancing and prioritizing multiple tasks.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree and at least 3-5 years’ relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Displays a thorough understanding of private event locations within the stadium including capacities, capabilities and rental rates.

Manages daily client business needs; sends estimates, contracts and corresponding sales documents.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, knowledge of events industry CRM program.

Previous experience in proper turf care and identification of turf pests and diseases

Excellent communication skills and organizational skills

Valid State Driver’s License with two years driving experience.

Remove unwanted plants by manual, mechanical, or chemical means inside and adjacent to property lawns.

Identify and control diseased turf to maintain a high level of health and visual appeal with the lawns.

Repair damaged areas of lawn incurred by wildlife or Resort activity.

Must be detail oriented with some janitorial experience; 1-2 years experience preferred.

Must have experience in custodial maintenance and cleaning;

This position requires you to clean up before, during and after baseball games and events;

Position will include, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, using a hand held blower, garbage removal, and cleaning restrooms;

Cleaning all stadium areas as well as offices and common areas;

Must be able to work various shift, including weekends and holidays;

Superior time management, organizational, verbal and communication skills

Assist with management of non-game day live events

Manage event staffing logistics (i.e. crewing, credentials, parking, etc.)

Manage videoboard control room and displays for stadium events

Research industry standards to implement and improve the gameday experience

4+ years of live sports production experience a must, football preferred

Must have at least two (2) years of relevant experience or education in quantity food production.

Possess safe knife handling skills.

Identifies recipe issues and resolves or elevates to managers

Is given oversight responsibility of a group of staff employees in the absence of a manager

Handles customer service issues in the absence of a manager

Provides informal feedback of employee's performance to the manager

The primary purpose of the position is to provide turf management services for Grounds Management.

This position is required to apply sound horticultural practices and integrated pest management procedures on campus areas.

Experience with landscaping and grounds maintenance.

Three to five years experience in grounds maintenance or arboriculture experience.

Knowledge of plant care and light equipment repair and maintenance.

A high level of applicable horticultural care and maintenance with some irrigation knowledge.

Minimum of 4 years of proven Turfgrass Management at the major league level. MLS/NWSL experience preferred.

High school diploma required, AS or BS Turfgrass management degree preferred. SFMA CSFM certification preferred.

Skills, Abilities & Other Attributes

Provide positive leadership to all crew members and continue to grow in knowledge in the position.

Operate typical turfgrass maintenance machinery, tractors, aerators, mowers, vacuums, sprayers, hand tools, and others.

Keep records of field maintenance, testing, and applications. Obtain TDA Pesticide license within 3 months of hire.
