Detailed Job Description Special Procedures Technologists are responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, such as computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, and angiography. They must be knowledgeable in the use of imaging equipment and be able to accurately interpret images. They must also be able to provide patient care during the imaging process, including preparing patients for the procedure, positioning them correctly, and monitoring them during the procedure.
