Detailed Job Description Special Procedures Technologists are responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, such as computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, and angiography. They must be knowledgeable in the use of imaging equipment and be able to accurately interpret images. They must also be able to provide patient care during the imaging process, including preparing patients for the procedure, positioning them correctly, and monitoring them during the procedure. Special Procedures Technologists must also be able to explain the procedure to the patient and answer any questions they may have. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
• Certification in Special Procedures (CSP)
• Current CPR certification
