A TYPICAL DAY AS A SALES REPRESENTATIVE:

Experience deploying and setting up servers, networks, firewalls, switches, wireless, etc.

Ability to manage multiples tasks and deadlines on a tight schedule.

Work proactively to improve clients’ technology.

Deploying and setting up servers, networks, firewalls, switches, wireless networks, etc.

Answer chat and phone communications for client requests.

Experience working remotely and at client locations

Under the mentorship of the Department Managers, oversee and deliver tasks by completing project achievements within the project/task timeline.

Technical and analytical background troubleshooting Windows, including workstations and servers, networking knowledge.

Familiarity with Emerson (Ovation) products, Curtiss-Wright, ABB, Opto22, Hitachi-GE Instrument and Control experience a plus.

Review and evaluate application of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposure (CVE)

Special projects, for example: organize and manage roll out of new version Windows clients, migrate application and data to new servers

Assist with monitoring corrective actions and team training requirement completion

Manage vendor contracts and services

Hands-on experience in defining MELT signals required for AIOps platforms such as Splunk ITSI

Preferred experience with one or more of Java, Python, JavaScript, Bash, Powershell

Hands on experience with version control repositories such as GitLab or BitBucket

Software Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:

Thoroughly understands the practices, methodologies and requirements of the Supply Chain Solutions Department and serves as advisor to all group members.

Identifying and developing innovative solutions to meet customer requirements.

Explaining the value of BMC Solutions to customers with associated use cases, required capabilities, and differentiation.

Reviews RFP requirements from customers with sales and clients to establish the right solution and be consultative on whether to bid.

Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.

Experience in enterprise-type software consulting, support, or training experience a major plus.

3+ years z/OS systems or major subsystem, in any of the following (z/OS, CICS, Db2, MQ, JAVA, STORAGE) experience.

Assisting in management of physical assets such as inventory, cable management, and the general workspace

Configure and support Mac OS and iOS devices in office and remote environments
