Forklift / Pallet Rider / Manual Pallet Jack experience helpful

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, use of calculator helpful

Load and unload shipments safely and move product to assigned locations or containers.

Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.

Efficiently pick store orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.

Place boxes on pallet or conveyor belt

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Ensure the department manager is apprised of issues or concerns.

Manage and process all incoming client repairs within given lead time.

Work closely with quality manager to communicate incoming quality issues or possible customer exchanges.

Minimum education required: High School Diploma or GED

Shipping and receiving experience preferred but not required.

Accurately identify and select correct product in accordance with parts list.

Get orders ready for shipment.

Inspect shipment to verify conformance to parts list.

Detect and notify supervisor of faulty operation of equipment and defective product and/or materials.

Experience working a flexible schedule including early morning, late night and/or weekends.

Keep accurate records of certified loads transported out of the facility for DSD delivery.

Provide coaching and counseling to Pickers on Pallet build practices.

Provide feedback to Product Availability Supervisor (PAS) on workflow, loading issues and developmental opportunities of picker and loaders.

Maintain pace of pallet configuration.

Check in all incoming inter-branch shipments from all branches.

Update incoming stock and incoming inter-branch shipment packing slips in computer and generate appropriate picking lists and reports as needed.

Experience leading teams in an industrial environment

Shipping and Receiving Hilo Driver responsibilities are but not limited to loading semi-truck with product to be shipped,

You must have at least six (6) months work experience within the last 12 months to be considered for this position.

Completes additional duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications:

Previous over-head crane experience preferred

Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.

Perform the required duties in accordance safety guidelines and lean principles by complying with all safety procedures and all company policies.

Uses various types of powered industrial vehicles and crane systems to move materials.

Ensures all materials are labeled, packaged, and shipped in accordance to work instruction / guidelines.

Minimum of 5+ years management experience in a Distribution Center environment

Shipping Management experience, a plus

Radio Frequency based paperless warehouse experience

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PKMS, and JD Edwards software packages a plus

Experience within an automated environment a plus
