Global supplier of secure durable and well-designed paper products is looking for a talented Product Development Engineer to join dynamic growing company and help them get to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
· Invent, prototype, and integrate new features using expertise in fiber engineering, paper machine processes, paper chemistries, and substrate feature engineering.
· Evaluated system readiness, collaborating with other departments to support new products and customer specs. Defined product KPI’s, Plan, track and manage production readiness.
· Be a key member of customer design process, ensuring new designs have high production capability, transfer of new designs into manufacturing, including customer and production documentation.
· Lead and influence internal R&D and cross-functional teams to execute product development efforts through a matrix structure.
· Establish and maintain strong, productive relationships and collaborations across internal, external, and partner organizations.
Qualifications:
· Degree in Physical Science or Engineering(e.g., Paper Science & Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or Chemical Engineering
· 7+ years’ experience in a Product Development Engineering role
· Paper Industry Experience is a MUST HAVE!
· Knowledge of PULP and PAPER a BIG PLUS
· Experience with Physical and Analytical property testing, Six Sigma and Lean Principals
These are full-time Product Development Engineer position. The right candidate will have a degree in physical science or engineering such as Paper Science & Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or Chemical Engineering. Our client is willing to relocate the right candidate.
