Champion new warehouse management system (WMS) to meet current and future operational requirements, collaborating with IT and external partners

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations Management, or related field and/or work experience

7+ years of direct management experience in a retail, automated, distribution center environment

Manage a team of salaried and hourly associates, including recruiting, training, coaching, and performance management

Develop and implement procedures for inventory management and controls

Familiarity working with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software and technologies

CPM to participate in and coordinate product development initiatives for DAE with Barings Product Management groups.

Keep technical, regulatory and personal skills and knowledge up to date, maintain records to evidence how this has been achieved

Familiar with private equity and real asset products especially as it aligns to Barings’ capabilities

Broad knowledge of the global investment environment, financial markets and competitive trends.

CPM will work with our DAE Investment Team and other Distribution team members to identify areas of fund raising.

CPM will serve as a lead and/or an active participant in meetings with current and prospective clients.

· Strong negotiation and relationship management skills

· Needing industry experience within aerospace manufacturing

· Strong experience in production leadership within the industry

· Strategically decision making across the warehousing and transportation departments

· Familiarity with managing 3pl partners

Bachelor’s Degree preferred with a minimum of 15 years of management experience in distribution/fulfillment operations.

Work with the quality team to manage supplier verification and certification for FDA, NSF and others.

Proficient ability with various business software suites in addition to background utilizing various warehouse and transportation management systems.

Manage all third party fulfillment operations and ensure all orders are shipped on time, in full and accurately.

Manage the implementation of new third party logistics providers and/or the relocation of fulfillment centers.

Manage and report on final mile delivery performance.
