Security Officer Supervisor Jobs

Monitors performance of subordinates, ensuring adherence of Casino policies and procedures.

Prepares schedules of the Security Officers and Security Surveillance Dispatch Officers

Assists in developing and implementing policies and procedures for the Security Dept.

Ensures the integrity of gambling, banking, Count room and cash handling procedures.

Ensures the safety of guests and employees during Casino operation.

Develop and maintain photo/card file on issues of importance.

3. Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.

9. Conducts special projects as assigned by the Manager as required.

10. Keeps the admin services abreast of all Security Manager.

2. Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.

5. Responsible for ensuring authorization to admit all incoming traffic according to established.

6. Oversees community wide parking enforcement measures.

Recognize and escalate to management all safety hazards and security vulnerabilities detected through the course of their shift.

Prior experience in Armed Security, Law Enforcement, or Military (4 years minimum).

Refined English verbal and written communication skills

1-3 years of security/law enforcement experience preferred.

CPR certification preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members; while remain calm in all situations.

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum: Minimum five years experience in law enforcement or healthcare security

Preferred: Bachelors' or Associates' degree in Criminal Justice

Ensures staff compliance with International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security certification requirements.

Supervises UHealth Security Professionals in their shift responsibilities.

Actively manage the threat environment to prevent or minimize the effects of workplace violence.

Able to obtain certification in Non-violent Crisis Intervention via Crisis Prevention Institute.

Able to obtain certification in Healthcare Defensive Tactics System via Personal Safety Training Institute.

Able to obtain Supervisor level certification from IAHSS.

Experience with and knowledge of regulations regarding hazardous materials, fire codes, building codes, and all other relevant safety requirements.

IAHSS Supervisory Certification within six (6) months.

Five (5) or more years of supervisory/lead experience in security or security related field, such as corrections, law enforcement, or military.

BA/BS Degree; or equivalent combination of relevant training and experience.

Demonstrated public speaking skills, and the ability to lead training courses.

Proficient with MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Ten (10) years combination of law enforcement or security experience.

Seven (7) years supervisory experience.

Partner with client location representatives to ensure proper utilization and execution of security programs

Respond in a timely manner to emergent events, issues, staffing deficiencies, and client requests

Initiate preliminary investigations and write incident reports on all internal personnel issues

Maintain up to date and accurate timekeeping systems and records

Complete proper personnel documentation/paperwork and processing as circumstances dictate

Combination of related education and work experience to equal at least six years in law enforcement, security-related field, or management-related field
