The Corporate Security Supervisor is responsible for all operations including the supervision of department officers, labor scheduling, materials, supplies and product output of the Corporate Security group as it relates to first response (safety and security calls), security investigations and report writing. This position will be responsible for the Corporate Security team's monitoring of foot and vehicle traffic throughout facility grounds for the safety and security of both employees and company assets. This position will be responsible for the supervision of hourly associates across three shifts. The Supervisor enforces parking policies, reports/investigates incidents via PC monitoring program, and ensures prompt response to calls for assistance from various departments throughout the company.

- Responsible for season planning by developing programs and procedures to improve the effectiveness of the department.
- Review work load requirements and staff shifts ensuring adequate coverage within budget guidelines.
- Investigate incidents that result in losses to the company.
- Supervise functional areas with other Security Officers on specific shifts.
- Assist Security Manager with investigations as needed.
- Respond and provide medical assistance to all medical emergencies and administer First Aid/CPR.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Respond to burglary and fire alarms while communicating with emergency services.
- Coach, mentor and develop Corporate Security staff.
- Patrol parking lots to monitor foot and vehicle traffic and enforce parking policies.
- Responsible for developing training materials and procedures for department.
- Issue secure card employee badges and enforce the Corporate Identification Badge procedure.
- Partner with peer supervisors to promote cross-departmental cooperation and ensure clear communication.
- Conducts cost analysis for projects and efficiencies.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and others to maintain security of premises.
- Prepare all incident reports of daily activities and irregularities such as property damage, theft, unusual circumstances and medical assists.
- Investigate crimes against the company by gathering information from all appropriate resources.
- Initiate Emergency Response Plan when required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Excellent reading, writing and communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) required.
- Must be CPR, First Aid and AED certified or have the ability to become certified.
- 2 or 4 year degree in loss prevention/criminal justice or equivalent is preferred.
- Must have valid driver's license.
- 3-5 years recent security, distribution or incident response experience is highly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Basic PC and systems skills (Microsoft word) required.
- Demonstrated comprehension skills are required.
