Troubadour Golf & Field Club Security Supervisor
is responsible for the safety and well-being of employees, members, and guests on club premises. This role ensures that the Troubadour team is properly responding to concerns that the Security Director and Manager advise.

  • Responsible to perform concierge level protection services for high net-worth owners and guests while assigned to mobile patrols at the site, Troubadour Golf & Field Club.
  • Secure and protect all of the client’s company assets: people, facilities, and property. Protect company and client reputation and intellectual assets with a focus on liability protection.
  • Respond to emergency situations with a sense of urgency and maintain open communication flow with Director of Security, across departments, and with external emergency services. First point of contact for external emergency services. Provide emergency and minor medical response as required.
  • Conduct quarterly proficiency and development training to include quarterly firearm qualification, tactics training as well as monthly sustainment training.
  • Perform regular field audits (checklists) for facilities and escalate findings to management.
  • Provide superior customer service to standards of Company.
  • Maintain the training standards which include Use of Force knowledge and application, firearm application, Defensive Tactics, mechanical restrains, search procedures, expandable batons, crisis management and emergency response.
  • Respond efficiently to all Director of Security requests either via email, text or phone. Unless extenuating circumstances exist ALL correspondence MUST be answered within 4 hrs.
  • Provide access-control utilizing sound judgment and client provided tools such as access control systems or access control lists and logs. Detect, investigate, and deny access of unauthorized persons.
  • Required to perform the role of shift supervisor to include supervision of officers and security personnel on duty, assignment for and monitoring completion of tasks, taking responsibility for all site activities and resolving both internal and external issues as they arise.
  • Effectively use client provided computer systems to complete reports and audits. Complete all paperwork and reports as necessary, including but not limited to a daily activity report. Provide detailed reports on all events and incidents on property.
  • Recognize and escalate to management all safety hazards and security vulnerabilities detected through the course of their shift.
  • Oversee and manage the daily operational needs of any contract service personnel in conjunction with contract service manager.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time up to and including an entire shift.
  • Maintain valid Tennessee Armed Guard License with Dallas Law training, Enhanced Concealed Weapons Permit (ECWP) and valid CPR certificates.
  • Required to successfully pass a “Fitness for Duty” test—assessment prior to hire and annually thereafter.
  • May be required to work outside of regular work hours at short notice.
  • Work is normally performed inside and outside. Temperatures may vary.

Requirements

  • Clear Criminal Background.
  • High school diploma, GED, or higher education.
  • Prior experience and training with relevant firearms and defensive tactics.
  • Valid Tennessee Driver’s License.
  • Valid and current Tennessee Armed Guard License with Dallas Law training.
  • Valid Enhanced Concealed Weapons Permit (ECWP) or HR 218 must be obtained prior to employment.
  • Prior experience in Armed Security, Law Enforcement, or Military (4 years minimum).
  • Able to pass the Fit for Duty Physical Fitness Test.
  • Must be able to work and stand inside/outside during all weather conditions.
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills, along with a working knowledge of basic computer functions and programs (Word, Excel, Outlook Email, etc.)
  • Able to physically restrain individuals when the condition to detain exists.
  • Have the ability to work calmly and efficiently in high duress situations.
