You'll have...
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field .

- Available to work 24x7, 365 days a year.
- Possess a Concealed Pistol License (CPL).
- Ten (10) years combination of law enforcement or security experience.
- Seven (7) years supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of Global Security and Fire site security and fire operations.
- CPR/AED certification.

In this position...
- Manage security and fire operations for all commercial and FCSD sites in the United States and Canada to include staffing requirements, access control, CCTV monitoring, fire inspections, and emergency support.
What you'll do...
- Resolve escalated issues with the contract security service provider.
- Identify and escalate physical security gaps through proactive security initiatives.
- Liaison with appropriate internal Ford departments and external work partners to plan for and provide security coverage for special events.
- Respond to behavioral situations and emergencies as needed and escalate appropriately to the Global Security Operations Manager.
- Resolve escalated issues with the contract security service provider.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal skill teams to ensure unified alignment with all security and fire related matters.
- Actively participate as a member of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during an escalated event.
- May enhance emergency response capabilities by utilizing incident response tools and through the deployment of emergency response equipment for the company or local municipalities.
- Act as a liaison with local and state police and fire departments.
- Act as a liaison with local and state police and fire departments.
- Liaison with appropriate internal Ford departments and external work partners to plan for and provide security coverage for special events.
- Collaborate with People Matters, UAW, Labor Relations, and Safety representatives as necessary to discuss and resolve workplace issues.
- Assist with project management oversight for physical security and fire system installations, as required.
- Manage escalated issues with the Executive Garage and executive floors.
- Actively participate as a member of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during an escalated event.

- Manage a team of direct and matrix reports.

- Manage special projects and security initiatives.
- Respond to behavioral situations and emergencies as needed and escalate appropriately to the Global Security Operations Manager.
