Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience. A degree in Transportation, Supply Chain, or Logistics would be ideal.

0.5 to 2 years of road logistics experience.

Excellent English written and oral communication skills.

Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office suite.

You will use optimization software to help plan loads and select the least cost mode (TL vs. LTL vs. Pool Distribution).

Responsible for researching problem freight that cannot be received at the distribution center/regional hub

Collaborates with key cross-functional teams (merchants, demand chain, distribution) to ensure problem freight resolution aligns with company policy and direction

Performs needed actions to create or adjust purchase orders, or otherwise dispense with problem freight

Identifies issues and opportunities as well as the appropriate action plan to support company financial goals

Ability to deliver expected quantitative and qualitative results

Ability to work cross-functionally and independently

Manage Book Of Business (BOB) ensuring constant growth in Volume, Revenue and Margin

Freight Forwarding experience is mandatory

Grant constant growth of the BCO composition of the above: Hunting as % of Farming

Undertake market analysis and competitive research in the local market

Liaise with Branch Operations in order to ensure proper SOPs are customized around client needs

Assist BOB clients in their day by day requests related to export/import quotations/negotiations in order to ensure proper opportunity closing

Manage Book Of Business (BOB) ensuring constant growth in Volume, Revenue and Margin

Grant constant growth of the BCO composition of the above: Hunting as % of Farming

Undertake market analysis and competitive research in the local market

Salary offer $70,000 to $100,000 p/a (DOE)

Minimum of 3 years of experience in road freight sales, with a focus on LTL and FTL

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation

Maintain and grow existing customer relationships by providing exceptional customer service and support
