Job Description
In this role, you will work directly with customers and drivers to develop business, find transportation solutions, and build strong relationships established on trust.
Requirements and Skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapid change
  • Negotiate freight rates to maximize profitability and continuous company growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues on a daily basis
  • Effective and timely communication with a diverse audience. Must be able to make over 100 phone calls throughout the day in order to compare truckloads based on load pay, distance, pick up and delivery times, delivery market, drivers' available hours and other factors
  • Create and maintain customer relationships

Job Schedule

  • Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
  • Full-time position
  • Must be located in Jacksonville, FL or willing to move to Jacksonville, FL

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in dispatching and/or freight brokerage is required. An associate's or bachelor's degree in a business related field is preferred. We will incorporate a training window to ensure you know what you are doing before held accountable for anything.
