Job Details:


The Freight Analyst has primary responsibility of resolving issues that arise with freight being received into the distribution center/regional hub (problem freight). This includes the timely research, cross-functional coordination to identify and resolve the issue.


  • Responsible for researching problem freight that cannot be received at the distribution center/regional hub
  • Performs needed actions to create or adjust purchase orders, or otherwise dispense with problem freight
  • Collaborates with key cross-functional teams (merchants, demand chain, distribution) to ensure problem freight resolution aligns with company policy and direction
  • Identifies issues and opportunities as well as the appropriate action plan to support company financial goals
Qualifications:

Ability to deliver expected quantitative and qualitative results

Strong analytical skills

Ability to work cross-functionally and independently

Ability to work cross-functionally and independently

Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and database applications


1-3 years of experience in retail/supply chain environment required. Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, or other related field, and Aldata G.O.L.D. knowledge preferred.
