Road Freight Sales Specialist

• Salary offer $70,000 to $100,000 p/a (DOE)

We are looking for an experienced Road Freight Sales Specialist to join our team in the New Jersey and New York area.
As a Road Freight Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for generating new business and up-selling existing accounts for our LTL and FTL road freight services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
• Cold call potential customers and schedule sales appointments
• Prepare and present pricing quotes
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships by providing exceptional customer service and support
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of services
• Prepare and present sales proposals and solutions to customers
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation

Requirements

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in road freight sales, with a focus on LTL and FTL
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of the road freight industry, including pricing, regulations, and market trends
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Salary

$70,000 to $100,000 p/a (DOE)
