The Residential Behavioral Health Technician

Work with military providers on case-managed patients.

Prior experience in a clinical social health setting

Experience working with military or veterans- preferred

U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)

U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)

U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A Master's degree in a related field (psychology, social work, counseling, etc.) or equivalent experience.

Experience working in a healthcare or behavioral health setting, preferably in admissions or patient intake.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.

Knowledge of insurance and billing processes related to behavioral health treatment.

Working with clients and providing encouragement of functional skills such as money management and other self-help tasks;

Performing case management and related administrative duties.

Providing case management services to seriously mentally ill adults in an outpatient setting; and

Two years of experience providing behavioral health services to the adult population.

Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments of clients;

Developing, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans based on diagnosis and functional needs of client;

Experience developing and implementing evidence based psycho-therapeutic and psycho-education treatment interventions; groups and individual interventions.

Experience providing training to unit and program staff.

Participate in continuing education to maintain professional competence as required by current standards.

Have contact with adults in custody during treatment/consultation, at times out of visual range of security staff;

Are exposed to adults in custody that may become physically and/or verbally abusive; and
