Residential Behavioral Health Specialist Jobs in Michigan

Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working in an integrated, Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) model.

Demonstrated knowledge and skill in evaluating, planning, implementing, and monitoring patient-centered approaches to care.

Licensed to practice in the State of Michigan. Limited License may be considered depending on experience and number of supervised hours.

Extensive experience working with people with mental illness, serious mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, and primary health care problems.

Knowledge of and compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Follows up on recommendations, interventions, and treatment plans to ensure adherence and favorable outcomes.

Participate in Individual Plan of Service Meetings as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team as determined in utilization management standards.

Provide community education to facilitate public awareness and acceptance, as necessary.

Strong problem solving and creative skills; ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

Actively participates as a member of a team and offers assistance to others when needed.

Meet physical requirements for position, which may include the ability to assist in lifting consumers, packages, and equipment.
