Manages and provides leadership to the Operations Department. Responsibilities include:

Promoting, disciplining, and terminating department staff in coordination with other members of management

Complete follow up, surveys, implement programs and processes to differentiate from our competition, improve customer experience to ensure customer loyality.

Microsoft Office Knowledge-particularly Excel and Word.

Efficient and Accurate route dispatch to minimize technician drive time.

Track work order until job is complete with Sage Construction and Real Estate software.

Dispatch and confirm shipments in our Transportation Management System (TMS)

Work with management to ensure alignment with company strategy in forecasting and business plans

Communicate with network of drayage carriers to request rates and availability, dispatch load assignments, and manage scheduling/completion of shipments

Advise customers of any variances including additional charges, revised dates/times, and updated requirements

Excellent customer service, communication (both verbal & written), problem solving and negotiation skills are required

Closely monitor shipments, always striving towards defect free service for our customers
