Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product management and other departments.

8+ years of Property and Casualty insurance industry experience.

Knowledge of industry-standard personal lines programs of insurance, including coverage concepts, rating procedures, and underwriting philosophies.

Prepares for and facilitates committee meetings by creating and pre-reviewing agenda templates and meeting materials, incorporating regulatory education, and documenting discussions.

Manages Continuing Review notification(s) prior to expiration date of protocol.

Prepares, reviews, and processes new research proposals, amendments, and continuing review applications prior to committee meetings.

Completes and distributes Committee Action Letters and Final Approval Letters.

Performs oversight and verification of database entries.

Four years of experience in job related field

Five years legal, regulatory, claims compliance administration or health insurance industry-related experience.

Excellent analytical or critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Excellent presentation skills with a strong attention to detail.

Working experience with Microsoft Office.

3 years-working experience as in-house lawyer working in insurance and/or regulatory/compliance law dealing with insurance products.

Pre-existing knowledge of the subject is not mandatory

Experience with databases, Excel, and other spreadsheets

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Regulatory Compliance Associate Required Experience:

Review and provide interpretation of proposal requirement

Gather information regarding education laws, ordinances, and regulations

Adding new program offerings or modifying program offerings on already approved state and regional ETPL approvals

Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant

You will establish and maintain a document management system for regulatory paper and electronic files

Customer service experience is preferred

You will process regulatory document signature request through an electronic signature platform

You will track documents pending site regulatory signatures

You will maintain updated physician credentials for network participants and other critical documentation ensuring compliance

You will triage site requests for regulatory support and identifies correct pathway for issue resolution

Manage overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverable dates can be clearly communicated.

Provide ongoing program and project management support.

Expert communication, status reporting, plan management and execution.

Create project timelines, and manage creative, development milestones and deliverables.

Create/manage project plans in Microsoft Project, drive all tasks, holding stakeholders accountable

Minimum of 10 years’ experience leading projects within a strong Regulatory and Compliance experience.

Assists SSU staff with the active project management of ongoing contract issues; performs follow-up on all outstanding contract issues.

Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and training preferred.

Good organizational skills and good attention to detail, with proven ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Quality-driven in all managed activities.

Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher.

Assists with quality control processes and translation processes related to submissions, contracts and essential documents.

Knowledge of and experience with commercial and MHP rules

Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years commensurate work experience.

Prior experience working with regulators on compliance audits, reporting and other matters.

Experience managing complicated projects, keeping track of details, and staging work to complete projects on time.

Regulatory requirements to business and technical staff to capture information and.

Experience developing reporting and metrics.

Enrollment, claims, utilization management, credentialing

Works in conducting compliance incident management.

Ranging from review and analysis of policies and procedures

Development policies and procedures for Medicaid and Medicare

Monitoring enrollment in Medicare and Medicaid

Reviewing communication from Federal and State

No substitution will be allowed for the required professional supervisory, managerial, consultative, or administrative experience.

Annual Salary $74,000 + Full State Employee Benefits

This position will serve as part of the Compliance Team in Legal Operations.

Main duties include: developing and maintaining compliance policies, practices, FAQs, and training materials;

Managed vision care or managed care experience

3+ years of experience in a regulatory or compliance related role

Healthcare industry experience – including familiarity with regulations surrounding Medicaid and Medicare

Experience using regulatory research systems including - West law, lexis nexis, state link

Accurately communicates relevant and potentially sensitive information to and from others, maintaining a high level of confidentiality and exercises good judgment.
