Regulatory Compliance Analyst- H10C


Annual Salary $74,000 + Full State Employee Benefits

Minimum Qualifications :


Master’s degree and three years of professional supervisory, managerial, consultative, or administrative experience in public health administration, social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, guidance and counseling, nursing, developmental disabilities, probation and parole, employment services, public administration, community-based prevention, and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation or disability services or counseling, or vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation, experience in instructing/directing a community service or recreational program,


Or


an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of professional-level experience in the above-listed areas for each year of the required education


  • No substitution will be allowed for the required professional supervisory, managerial, consultative, or administrative experience.


Job Responsibilities:


  • This position will serve as part of the Compliance Team in Legal Operations.
  • Ability to work on a diverse team and directly with people from diverse backgrounds specifically racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and disabilities.
  • Primary areas of compliance focus include IRS Publication 1075 requirements for Federal Tax Information; SSA requirements related to data provided through exchange agreements with SSA; FBI requirements related to Criminal History Records Information and Criminal Justice Information; and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements.
  • Secondary areas of compliance focus include Federal Parent Locator Service requirements for child support enforcement programs and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) requirements.
  • Main duties include: developing and maintaining compliance policies, practices, FAQs, and training materials;
  • Developing processes and training materials for the DHS Decentralized Security Representative (DSR) process; providing training on compliance and DSR policies, processes, and FAQs; and coordinating the collection of documentation for compliance audits.


Preference may be given to a candidate with 2 years of experience in the field of compliance or in a position responsible for compliance for a division.
