Regional Safety Coordinator Jobs in Michigan

· Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards, procedures, and documentation. 10-hour OSHA Certification preferred.

· Leadership, excellent presentation and training skills; organizational and planning skills; good verbal and written communication skills.

· Should have experience providing safety training to workers.

· Provide HSE training, including FA/CPR/AED and NFPA 70E. Maintain databases about safety and trainings.

· Investigate accidents and determine root causes. Prepare reports on occurrences.

· Assist with worker’s compensation claims.

Ensure safety policies and procedures are monitored and updated to meet current business needs and requirements.

Audit facility operations to verify compliance with EHS regulatory and corporate requirements.

Act as the on-floor Leader to implement standards for Safety and Health for the company.

Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with occupational safety & health (OSHA) regulations as well as similar corporate regulations.

Works with all Manufacturing staff to establish procedures, standards, and systems related to safety.

Produce, train, and document all Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for all equipment and processes.

A combination of related post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis

One year of experience in coordinating public health programs

Experience adapting public health practices to meet the need of diverse population

Collaborate with schools to coordinate and manage projects and initiatives focused on disease mitigation

Perform work with a greater purpose

Assists management with driver interviews.

Safety Supervisor Experience and Skills Required:

Prefer 1-2 year supervisory experience with hourly employees

Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
