Ability to verify that a Suppliers ATP meets the requirements of the customer's specifications,

Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, specifications, geometric tolerances, schematics and processes,

Able to evaluate and perform First Article Inspections (AS9102),

IPC-610 current certified (or past certificate)

IPC-A-600 training/certified (or past certificate)

Experience with formal problem-solving methodologies and deductive skills

Knowledge of global quality systems and regulatory requirements (21 CFR Part 11/210/211/820, ISO 13485, Ordinance 169, ISO14971)

Resolve incoming inspection yield issues by driving tighter vendor process capabilities and ensuring appropriate internal drawing tolerances.

Support internal and external auditing requirements (system compliance)

5+ years of experience in QA/QE in medical device field

Experience with manufacturing of complex products in an ECA, ideally catheter-based or cardiac assist devices preferred.

Qualification of New suppliers, management of the Approved supplier database, and creation/ review of Quality Agreements

> 5 years’ project management of multi-disciplinary teams

Utilize expertise of quality systems, data integrity, software compliance and GMP requirements to conduct internal quality audits

Monitor and manage Supplier Complaint Process

Undergraduate degree in engineering, science, or other degree with applicable experience

2-4 years of relevant experience applying regulations and communicating with regulatory agencies, Animal Health/ Pharma industry.

The candidate will be responsible to perform First Article Inspection assessments per AS9102 for verification of customer requirements

Associates Degree in Science and/or Engineering OR minimum of 2 years’ experience in Manufacturing and/or Engineering

Minimum of 1 year experience with MS Office suite to include Excel and Outlook

This candidate will be responsible for prioritizing, reviewing, and delivering First Article Inspections FAIs for sustaining parts and development projects

Must understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.

Basic knowledge of quantitative methods/statistical procedures and graphic skills.

Performs management activities for Non-Destructive Inspection organization

3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, quality, or other related field

Experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)

At least 2-3 years experience in quality management methods and tools

Hands-on knowledge and experience with Six Sigma tools and methods for assessing and driving process quality performance

Effective problem-solving abilities with strong data-driven and effective analytical skills

Strong leadership and influence skills to manage 3rd party service providers

At least 2-3 years experience in managing Quality processes, particularly in a warehouse environment.

Strong working knowledge of SAP systems

1. High school diploma / GED, or equivalent experience in manufacturing/aviation environment.

2. Minimum of (2) years of inspection experience applying GD&T Principles and Practices

5. Working Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Practices, Metrics and Reporting.

7. Must possess appropriate mathematical and analytical skills to determine acceptability of product(s) based on established criteria.

Participates in the evaluation and qualification process of potential new suppliers.

ASME or 10 years’ experience in a quality role.

Supervises QC personnel. Includes scheduling workload, employee development, and training.

Oversees the establishment and maintenance of documentation files and lot control to characterize product quality.

Prepares reports of returned products and recommends corrective action.

Works to improve efficiency of inspection and strives to reduce the cost of quality.

Record data clearly and precisely using Fujifilm Irvine Scientific inventory management system and maintain inspection records.

Computer skills necessary including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience with ERP/MRP system is a plus

Work independently and have effective communication and organizational skills.

Good oral and written communication skills

Provide work direction to and supervision of the QA Receiving Inspectors.

Maintain and update raw material inspection report database and prepare reports as assigned.

Broadening knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.

Experience in processing Pre-Production Approval Process (PPAP) parts.

One (1) or more years of experience in quality inspection or a related area.

Experience understanding and interpreting blueprints.

Experience working in JD Edwards database.

Obtain incoming raw materials for inspection prior to finished product testing.

Basic computer skills (data entry, PC navigation)

Use PC to perform data entry and process work-related transactions

12+ months quality assurance and/or fast paced inspection and production related experience

Perform in-process and final visual, dimensional, and technical inspections

Evaluate reasons for defects; mark and sort rework and prepare non-conformance reports

Utilize and/or operate material moving equipment, carts, etc. and use inspection tools, including hand tools and precision devices
