Program Coordinator – Youth Services Jobs in Maryland

Works closely with Department of Labor Apprenticeship liaison to ensure transition from Work Experience to Apprenticeship or Secondary Education

Develop partnerships with employers to facilitate work experience opportunities.

Assists with conducting new hire and supervisor orientations for employer and WEX (Work Experience) participants.

Complete documentation for Work Experience opportunities accurately and on time.

Completes all forms and documents associated with the above responsibilities accurately and on time.

Strong networking skills, and ability to make business connections.

Experience in case management and working with refugee and/or immigrant populations strongly preferred.

Supervise youth caseworkers, youth success specialists and youth case management interns.

Two or more years of progressively responsible experience working with at-risk youth, specifically in the context of educational and social programs.

Strong communication skills, including writing skills and giving presentations.

Strong computer skills: Microsoft applications, web-based databases and applications.

Experience supervising staff, interns and volunteers strongly preferred.
