Good understanding of international shipping, logistics, and duty/tariffs experience.

Systematically identify and reconcile discrepancies and close gaps among inputs on an ongoing basis.

Track weekly/monthly forecast error results versus established targets and identify and report cause for forecast misses.

5+ years of experience leading medical device logistics and customer service management.

Work with internal departments to coordinate logistics operations, including inventory management, transportation, and warehouse management.

Knowledge of medical device regulations and compliance requirements.

Manage the customer service team ensuring the company’s customers receive exceptional service, timely resolution of inquiries, complaints, and product issues.

Manage logistics partners and third-party service providers to ensure service levels are met or exceeded.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Expert-level knowledge and abilities within purchasing functions or ERP applications; Workday and Jaggaer SciQuest preferred

IATA, DOT, APICS (CSCP) or Six Sigma education or certification is strongly preferred.

Product and inventory management certification a plus

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management or similar

Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management

Strong leadership and communication skills

Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels

Manages schedules of deliveries and shipments to optimize operations

Experience managing accountable assets in an integrated business management system, such as Oracle.

Completes lost property forms and reviews and approves staff’s property management reports and transactions.

Coordinates the identification, documentation, and disposal of excess accountable assets with Corporate Property Management.

Knowledge of supervisory principles and ability to manage the operations and programs of the unit/team.
