3+ years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design

Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS, and comparable languages

Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategies and technologies

Be willing to work independently and in a team environment and interact effectively with other team members, management, and clients.

Collaborate with developers to build user-centered customer experience.

Professional experience collaborating in a team environment on large-scale website development projects is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Design user-centered, functional, innovative, and easy-to-use web and app interfaces.

Design web components based on marketing needs.

Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.

Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer working with the government

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience with design software and wireframe tools

Apply knowledge of UI design to develop mock-ups, new interaction models, and navigation schemes

Strategically imagine, conceive of, manage, and drive UI design projects from concept to implementation

Act as liaison to provide feedback and ensure design integrity of projects between interaction designers, software engineers, and project managers

Analyze and interpret recommendations from other business groups in order to prioritize functions and develop a project roadmap with project managers

Deep experience in interaction, prototyping, and complex design systems

Experience building foundational layout and typographic systems

Good knowledge of eCommerce user experience best practices

Some previous experience managing a previous design teams’ workloads and helping improve their team members’ skill sets.

An ability to manage multiple projects at any one time to ensure stakeholders requirements are met.

Conceptualize creative ideas with clients and create briefs that deliver exceptional digital experiences

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Proven UX/UI Design ability and wireframing experience
