Experience with Medicaid and HHS eligibility and case management systems

Excellent writing skills (ability to take multiple requirements, condense, and improve wording while maintaining intent)

Experience with Managed Care Contracting

5-7+ Year of Procurement or Contract experience, government experience preferred

Experience putting together a large document utilizing multiple sources

Experience writing security and privacy policy documents

Ensure Program compliance with state and federal (CMS) procurement and contract standards and requirements and engage the appropriate support, as needed

Collaborate with the Finance Team to review vendor invoices to ensure accurate billing by monitoring.

Manage and communicate issues and risks associated with assigned contracts to Program leadership

3-5 years of procurement and contract experience (public sector experience a plus)

Have superior organizational skills and attention to detail.

Be able to manage multiple projects and tasks with shifting deadlines.

Deep knowledge in the application of Procurement Category Management, in particular contracting, supplier management, post award contract management and project execution

Strong stakeholder management and networking skills to develop competitive project strategies

Skilled application in category management (strategy and delivery), sourcing and contracting, supplier management and commercial negotiations

Manage end-to-end procurement delivery of complex, fast-paced construction projects including contract negotiation and post-award contract management.

Strong project sourcing and execution experience (FEED and EPC/EPCI)

Strong contracting, collaboration and integrated planning skills

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to manage deadlines.

Manage engagements for: independent contractors, consultants, temp and placement agencies, law firms, architects, engineers and other purchases as needed.

Serve as primary backup to the Manager, Contracts of the Procurement group on all contract-related matters

Minimum 3 years related experience in a contract procurement or legal position required.

Knowledge of life sciences and basic contract law preferred.

Assist in the review and negotiations, for all Procurement staff, in cases of conflicting terms & conditions.

Experience with change management & putting new processes in place

Experience with contract lifecycle management software (preferably Lexion)

Experience with expense management software (preferably Airbase) and invoicing

Create and uplevel procurement processes, including contract management, negotiation, purchase orders, and invoicing.

Manage the vendor negotiations & procurement of products and services, from sourcing through negotiation and ultimately tracking and reporting.

Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, and IT to ensure compliance, identify process improvements, and lower costs.

5+ years of work experience in operational, procurement or sourcing, and a minimum of 3 years of contract management experience

Key Responsibilities / Job Duties:

Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) and/or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) preferred

Ability to convert ambiguous and/or informal language often contained within proposals or internal requirements documents into tightly-defined contract language

Strong analytical and communication skills

Strong writing and grammar skills; ability to write clearly and concisely

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 10 years previous experience in contracts, subcontracts and/or procurement in a major Capital Project environment

Advanced skills using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint).

Experience working for an Owner

Supplier pre-qualification and vendor onboarding;

Cross-functional coordination including Engineering, Finance & Accounts Payable, HR, Commercial Team, Permitting and Government Relations

Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (reading, writing and speaking).
