ERSG is seeking a motivated Valuation Analyst for an offshore wind project that will be constructed and installed off the coast of New Jersey. This person needs to be intrigued and excited about the growing and developing offshore wind industry. This position will be reporting into the Valuation Lead and the project is open to taking people in their offices in Boston, MA, Brooklyn, NY, or Atlantic City, NJ.

scope of Position Manages, negotiates, and supports the administration of engineering & services contracts for Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind (Joint Venture (JV) between Shell and EDF Renewables).

Responsibilities

60% - Procurement: Sourcing (track market trends and Roadmaps for technologies and services) and Management of Requests for Information (RFIs) Familiar with supplier’s qualification process Develop the procurement strategy and preparation of tender packages Support the technical team and the development team to develop specifications, scopes with a contract approach (clear deliverables, deadlines, etc.) Lead issuance of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) related to the procurement of engineering and services contracts. Lead commercial negotiations for tenders with a Most Economically Advantageous approach, involving all the necessaries dpt for the evaluation and clarifications phase (e.g: technical, insurance, HSE, quality, finance) Lead the procurement steps up to contract execution, per Atlantic Shores Procurement policy

Ability to manage at the same time a high volume of procurement needs. 35% - Contracting: Lead clarification and negotiation of contracts, including deviations negotiations with suppliers, compiling and finalizing final drafts, and Manage day-to-day obligations Lead the contract approval process Support the person responsible for the contract execution for any variation, claim occurring during the execution Bring best practices into Atlantic Shores from experience in contracting similar services 5% - Other duties as assigned Supervision of Others: None Qualifications 3 years of experience managing contracts and preparing & negotiating tenders 2 years of experience in the negotiation of services and engineering contracts.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

– Demonstrates ability to work successfully with multiple people from all types of fields of expertise in a high-paced JV environment Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contractor relationships simultaneously Must have proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and track progress and needs of each project and provide accurate and timely updates Advanced experience with Microsoft Office 365, with emphasis on MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project. Good reporting skills Experience with ERP Systems, including project cost reporting Outstanding interpersonal oral and written communication skills required The ideal candidate has: Experience in the commercial & contractual negotiation of services & engineering contracts. Experience in the negotiation of contracts of $50K to $10M.

Responsibilities:

At least 3 years’ experience in negotiations (contractual & commercial) A good knowledge of procurement process, understanding of claim prevention In addition, tender management skills and expertise in the development of a procurement strategy for tenders are mandatory for this position. Prior experience on either renewable energy, oil & gas or utility sector are a nice to have. Working Conditions: Approximately 90% of the time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, ERP system and Microsoft Project), with the remaining approximate 10% of he time spent travelling to visit vendors, meet with Atlantic Shores teams in other offices and to attend conferences.

Pay range: $112,500 to $187,500 annually!!
