We are looking for an experienced, autonomous Procurement Specialist / Contracts Manager to create, define, refine, execute, and streamline our procurement, contracting, and reporting processes.


IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:


  • Be responsible for ongoing obligation tracking from agreements, and handle renewals and renegotiations if necessary.
  • Lead necessary procurement process changes within the company.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, and IT to ensure compliance, identify process improvements, and lower costs.
  • Negotiate business terms such as price, quality, deadlines, expectations, etc.
  • Solicit and compare bids from vendors and help determine contract awards.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with teams to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Work closely with the product teams to understand the details of their needs and provide guidance to teams engaging with procurement or contract processes.
  • Manage the vendor negotiations & procurement of products and services, from sourcing through negotiation and ultimately tracking and reporting.
  • Create and uplevel procurement processes, including contract management, negotiation, purchase orders, and invoicing.
  • Prepare, review, edit, negotiate, and administer contracts and purchase orders.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Ability to work autonomously while knowing when to communicate with stakeholders.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or contract negotiation
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of procurement & contract principles and procedures
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Business savvy – strong understanding of business processes and economics
  • Good organization and attention to detail
  • Experience with change management & putting new processes in place
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – both interpersonal and functional
  • Exemplify creative problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with procurement and established vendor relationships in the technology industry
  • Strong contract negotiation and influencing skills
  • Capable of professionally managing confidential information


BONUS POINTS:


  • Master's degree in a related field, CPA, J.D. or other professional credential
  • Experience with SOX compliance
  • Experience with ERP software (preferably Netsuite)
  • Additional related certifications
  • Experience with expense management software (preferably Airbase) and invoicing
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management software (preferably Lexion)

The base pay range for this position is listed below; please note the base pay may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and, in some cases, a sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. We also offer a full slate of benefits, including flexible vacation, medical, dental vision, life and disability coverage, long-term care insurance, FSA, commuter benefits, a 401(k) plan with company match, and a parental leave program. We also offer some not-so-standard benefits, including equipment, family, and pet care stipends.


Base Pay Range


$83,747—$143,971 USD
