Job Description

The Offshore Procurement & Contract Manager manages, negotiates, and supports the administration of contracts for Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind(ASOW). The ideal candidate has: In-depth knowledge of the offshore wind sector or US Offshore sector Experience in negotiating installation contracts related to offshore wind projects such as BIMCO or experience negotiating EPCI contract such as FIDIC for main packages such as Foundation, Subsea cable, Offshore Substation, WTG foundation, Transition Piece. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in negotiations (contractual & commercial) with at least 5 years’ experience in the negotiation of T&I or EPC/EPCI (50M$+ contracts). Sound knowledge of procurement process, understanding of claim prevention.


In addition, team management and the development of a procurement strategy for tenders are skills that are mandatory for this position. Responsibilities 50% - Contract & Procurement Management Leads in issuing request-for-proposals (RFPs) related to procuring technologies/equipment and related services. Leads in the clarifications and negotiations of procurement contracts, including deviations negotiations with vendors, compiling and finalizing the final drafts, and manages the day-to-day obligations associated with doing so. Leads in the commercial negotiation for tenders with a Most Economically Advantageous approach. Lead the procurement steps up to the contract signature (recommendation to award, contract approval process) Support the Contract Lead for any variation or claim to occur during the contract execution. 15% - Strategy Develop the procurement strategy and prepare a tender package for each procurement need. Support the technical team and the development team to develop specifications and scopes with a contract approach (clear deliverables, deadlines, etc.) 10% - Reporting Reporting, Presentation to leadership and related stakeholders 20% - Sourcing Sourcing (Track market trends and Road maps for technologies and services) and Management of RFIs Builds relationships with the key players within the offshore renewable energy industry on to understand the commercial readiness of emerging technologies, the current and future price of all technologies, and to communicate these components and the impact that these components will have on the commercial & technical teams. Brings contracting best practices into Atlantic Shores from experience in contracting similar services 5% - Other duties as assigned Qualifications 10+ years of experience managing contracts and preparing & negotiating tenders (if possible with at least 5 year experience in the offshore wind industry).


5 years of experience in the negotiation of installation BIMCO contract or subsea cable, OSS, WTG foundation EPCI contracts. Experience in the claim management of major EPC, EPCI contracts Demonstrates ability to work successfully with multiple people from all types of fields of expertise in a high-paced JV environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contractor relationships simultaneously. Must have proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and track progress and needs of each project and provide accurate and timely updates. Good reporting skills Experience with ERP Systems, including project cost reporting. Outstanding interpersonal oral and written communication skills required. Physical Requirements: Ability to travel every other month to a separate Atlantic Shores or parent office for 3-5 days at a time. [1] Travel to fabrication sites, installation vessels and vendor offices. Approximately 80% of the time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers, with the remaining approximate 20% of the time spent traveling to visit vendors, meet with Atlantic Shores teams in other offices and to attend conferences.


Pay range: $112,500 to $187,500 annually!!
