Design and develop products from concepts through the prototyping and testing phases, into 3D models, and ultimately to production

Work closely with other designers to maintain a cohesive design language and product philosophy

Create specification documents for our tech packs

Work with our Manufacturing team and vendors to find the best solutions for each project

Produce renderings and other presentation tools to help support our new products

Must have 4-6 years of experience with Autodesk Alias and Photoshop.

Illustrator, Keyshot, and Blender experience a plus.

Transportation industry experience is preferred.

Heavy truck or construction experience is a plus.

Propose and develop design solutions with clear product message and distinct brand identity that meets the project prerequisites.

Explore ideas for product message and create 2D and 3D concepts, e.g., sketches, drawings, and visual artifacts, using the given inputs.

Collaborate with others (other designers, engineers, management, manufacturing, etc.) to develop or refine designs.

Present work to peers and management for approval.

3+ years of relevant industrial design experience and 4 year degree in related discipline

Develop and present new product design concepts.

Create sketches, renderings and computer graphic illustrations.

Refine designs based on feedback.

Collaborate cross-functionally and manage stakeholder alignment on user-centered experience design

Inspire and motivate your peers with a strong point of view of what constitutes high quality experience design.

Influence decision-making through clear communication and demonstration of how design deliverables successfully balance requirements, constraints and user needs.

You’ve got a few years of experience on your resume, and you’ve shipped multiple products or features

You thrive best when helping to define the requirements, not just translating them into design

You develop strong relationships with product managers, developers, writers, and business partners

Use 3D software for modeling and rendering, as well as knowledge of prototyping equipment.

2+ years of professional experience in an industrial design related role.

Experience using 2D and 3D drawing software. Rhino, Autocad and Solidworks very important.

Experience in manufacturing processes and techniques used to manufacture products made from a range of materials.

Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

Work with our pre-production and production department to validate designs, mock-ups, and test homes.

Outstanding project management skills, ability to lead multiple projects and handle complexity with confidence.

Strong collaboration skills within design and multi-functional partners. Experience collaborating across geographies and organizational boundaries is a plus.

Galvanize support for your ideas through strong influencing and communication skills.

A good base knowledge in key manufacturing processes (blow-molding, injection molding, etc.)

Experience with animation tools (Flash, Premiere, Maya, etc.).

Work with leadership to understand the biggest innovation opportunities for your category and brands.

Have an Industrial Design Degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 5+ years professional experience. Have agency/corporate experience; worked with/for major national/international brands.

The ability reinvent your self. Proven experience working within a variety of industries with an emphasize on consumer products.

A skilled physical and digital designer, who is passionate about quality and authenticity.

You live, love, breath design.

You build creative solutions which capture the human, technical and aesthetic element.

Self-disciplined with strong time management skills to achieve deliverable dates across many projects & changing priorities.

Ability to hear “no” or try again repeatedly without being discouraged. Outside of the box, creative & blue-sky concepting skills.

Strong design ability. Can collaboratively apply design skills with a variety of teams both in person and digitally.

Ability to create detailed product specifications, sewing or pattern making knowledge ideal.

Demonstrate experience designing product to fit within a specific brand style.

Self-discipline to budget time to achieve deliverables while working in a hybrid remote environment.

Ability to travel up to 10% to various unanticipated project sites based on project needs.
