Pricing Actuary Jobs

1-2 years of experience in the logistics industry - experience in Operations and/or Pricing roles preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools, and business intelligence software

Experience in an actuarial capacity in Property Casualty Insurance.

Experience building and working with predictive models for Property Casualty rate making including familiarity with Python, R, and/or SAS.

Demonstrated superior level of written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrated advanced knowledge in the use and ability to learn a wide variety of tools, data sources, and computer applications.

5 years of experience as an actuary or similar position

Experience in each of the following:

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative STEM field

Designation as a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA)

R, Python, and SAS programming languages

Actuarial projection software, such as GGY-AXIS, MG-ALFA, PROPHET, or MOSES

Update and deliver price list files to internal sales management team.

Deep working knowledge of modern ERP systems required. JD Edwards experience, highly preferred.

Excellent computer skills required; MS Office experience a must, especially Excel.

Enforce pricing policies and authorization tables in accordance with the company’s requirements.

Manage the schedule and implementation of bi-annual direct customer pricing renewals to ensure price performance.

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or similar fields.

Experience with pricing and packaging research techniques such as Conjoint, Van Westendorp, etc., and survey tools such as Qualtrics

Lead the development and optimization of our pricing, packaging, and discount strategy based on business goals.

Chair the executive pricing committee, presenting research findings, and proposing and driving agreement on pricing and packaging recommendations.
