People Data Scientist Jobs

Minimum of 2 years experience with programming and application development using Python.

Extract, sanitize and leverage large amounts of data from our central HR Data Hub to deploy data science solutions at scale.

Participate in project teams comprised of internal and external team members.

Elicit needs and act in a primary role as a trusted business and analytical partner.

Develop, manage, and maintain centralized dimensional data model for core workforce data at HP.

Presenting written recommendations, requirements, and insights through the addition of technology platforms and net new data sources.

Experience implementing solutions using full Microsoft Power Platform considered an asset.

Experience supporting full cycle technology implementations in a large complex organization.

Required post secondary education in the field of computer, information science, or statistics.

Responsible for making recommendations on ongoing tools and technology selection for People Insights solutions development.

Leverage academic expertise and knowledge of HR industry and people analytics trends to address practical business challenges

Experience working with large practical datasets

2-5 years experience in the Talent Analytics (or similar) field

Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to understand people-related business problems, and gathering relevant people data to analyze

Utilize appropriate data science methodologies toward attracting, hiring, developing, and retaining qualified talent

Create statistical models that explain or predict outcomes related to hiring, productivity, engagement, and attrition

High level of knowledge and experience with data quality measures and approaches used to ensure high-quality output and assurance

Lead the People Analytics efforts focused on data curation, automated intelligence, and knowledge generation

5+ years of relevant professional experience in an analytical role

Strong analytical competence and experience with statistical methods

Employ research techniques and tools to take full advantage of data-sets

Specify, design, build, and quality check data visualizations, dashboards, presentations and reporting products

6 – 7 years of experience in an analytics role

4 years of related experience in Human Resources is preferred

Advanced knowledge with Excel; Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI

Experience in building self-service dashboards

A team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong sense of attention to detail

Excellent storytelling skills, coupled with business acumen with the ability to understand and know your audience

Expert knowledge of advanced statistical methods (e.g., could include: regression, cluster analysis, HLM, social network analysis, text analysis, longitudinal methods, etc.)

Advanced Python or R skills

Knowledge of Git is a plus

Conduct rigorous analyses to uncover data-driven people insights, and then test and iterate to understand feasibility and interest before scaling.

Help scale compelling insights from people data by building automated internal processes and/or products.

Learn from and collaborate with other Data Scientists, and mentor others on the team

Performance management system implementation experience not necessary but highly preferred

Collaborate with customers (pre-sale and post-sale) to design and build people-centric feedback and performance management strategies

Coach clients on aligning business strategy with performance management and employee feedback approaches using the Culture Amp platform

Experience working in a high growth, global SaaS company and in HR Tech preferred

3+ years of applied experience working within an organization and/or consulting to organizations. Enterprise experience is highly preferred

Experience designing, implementing and analyzing surveys, as well as presenting results to executives and HR leaders

Support transition between record management systems

Data entry experience with attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent administration, organization, and data entry skills.

Coordinate with other departments including Payroll and Benefits to ensure accurate payments, deductions, and problem resolution.

Maintain and update data entry process documentation

Administrative experience in HR or an associate’s degree preferred

Bachelor’s in human resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Business Analytics, Statistics or a related field. Equivalent demonstrative work experience acceptable.

3+ years of experience applying analytical methods to business problems, driving improved decision-making and outcomes.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to organize data and a demonstrated knowledge of research design, statistical analysis, and measurement.

Knowledge of & Interest in HR processes including Diversity & Talent Acquisition topics

Exceptional critical thinking skills with ability to document & communicate in a clear/concise manner.
