Resolve matters relating to crisis management, injury & illness prevention and maintenance of the region's business continuity plan.

Investigate and report all accidents/property damage to appropriate management and authorities.

Management, implementation and accountability of parking operations

Certification as Real Property Administrator (RPAâ) and/or Certified Property Manager (CPMâ) preferred.

Continuing education toward LEED certification highly desirable.

Familiarity and experience with multiple operations components such as administrative support, office management, compliance, human resources, and IT preferred.

2-3 years of demonstrable experience with project management of cross-department projects

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field

Must have strong experience with real estate software such as YARDI, MRI, etc.

Industry specific certification such as CPM and/or RPA preferred

Follow Risk Management guidelines as defined by RMR’s Director of Risk Management.

Implement energy management program and monitor utility usage.

Strong proficiency with Property Management/Accounting Software (preferably Yardi and Argus Enterprise), Excel and other Windows applications.

Area Director of Engineering and/or Regional Construction Manager should review all major construction projects before they begin.

Four to eight years’ experience in commercial real estate.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.

Experience with property management or related (training will be provided)

Act as lead management decision-maker for the campus during evening and overnight shifts

Strong customer service skills and experience

Business Administration or Sports Management degree

Schedule, direct and manage property maintenance projects ensuring the proper care of the campus

Approach responsibilities with ability to think strategically, plan thoughtfully and execute efficiently and effectively.

Strong organizational skills and time management skills.

This position requires travel throughout Southern Maine and New Hampshire and has flexibility around working remotely and on-site.

Thorough experience in managing multi-family housing.

Knowledge of general accounting principles.

15 or more years of previous business/operations management experience in a real estate operations environment

Work closely with Regional Directors to ensure property management revenue, expense, staffing and training goals are achieved

Support change management in the organization to ensure proper documentation and training is provided to impacted employees

Ability to effectively manage a diverse group of remote managers

Ensure all training requirements are completed timely

7 or more years of supervisory experience

10 or more years of previous business/operations management experience in a real estate operations environment

Work closely with Regional Director/Regional Vice President (RD/RVP) to ensure property management revenue, expense, staffing, and training goals are achieved

Support change management in the organization to ensure proper documentation and training is provided to impacted employees

Ability to effectively manage a diverse group of remote managers

Ensure all training requirements are completed timely

7 or more years of supervisory experience
