Multifamily Assistant Project Manager Jobs in Texas

Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly reports to management team

Hire new staff members, provide daily management over Supervisors and conduct performance reviews

Maintain rapport with Billingsley retailers and management

5+ Years Multifamily experience as Property Manager, Community Manager or General Manager at a large (1000+ units) multi-family property

Manage resident violations in relation to community conduct and the enforcement of community policies

Assist in leasing responsibilities, when necessary

Strong business acumen in project planning and management

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress

Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them

Experience with multi-family projects ranging from $10M - $100M

2+ yrs of experience within Podium, Urban / High-Density, and Multi-Family communities

Prepare and assist with pre-construction meetings and agendas

Review project logs (RFI’s, Submittals, RFC’s, CO’s) on a weekly basis

Assist the PM with preparing all contracts, modifications, service orders, etc.

Overseeing multiple subcontractor trades and coordinating suppliers and deliveries

• Must be have strong financial management skills and be well versed in budgeting and forecasting

• Must have strong leadership and management skills to include recruiting, hiring, team-building, coaching and mentoring skills

• Third party fee management experience preferred

• BA/BS In Business, Hospitality, Property Management or related field

• Must have superior interpersonal skills; Must present a professional image

• Yardi software experience preferred

An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be acceptable.

Advanced degree and/or training in management desired.

Ability to develop Project Management plan and perform according to agreed plans with minimal supervision.

2 - Qualifications and Experience

Assists the Project Manager to monitor the project’s performance and follows up on the implementation of necessary corrective measures.

Assists the Project Manager with the project’s schedule, it’s baseline and subsequent updates.

An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be acceptable.

Advanced degree and/or training in management desired.

Ability to develop Project Management plan and perform according to agreed plans with minimal supervision.

Minimum of seven years’ experience in the construction industry.

Advanced knowledge of financial engineering options, including resources and/or financing available.

Strong analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Assist in creation of baseline project schedule with senior project management staff and superintendent

All responsibilities of project engineer with limited to no supervision from senior staff

Write subcontracts and manage buy-out process with all subcontractors

Manage document change order process

Determines permitting requirements and assists permitting process
