Take loan application by interviewing members to identify needs and determine appropriate mortgage product.

Prepare files and orders all necessary third party services

Prepares and/or reviews all loan documents for completeness, accuracy and acceptability against loan conditions.

Two years experience in using an automated information system to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve/inquire and report on data.

Two years experience in applying laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.

Six months experience in creating reports which includes combining and presenting data from multiple sources in an organized format.

Enters information into manual or automated systems.

Develops project tracking processes and related reporting requirements.

Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience.

Experience as a Team Lead.

Experience with Data Base Creation and tracking tools.

Maintains and keeps up the date infrastructure and telephone directory information for assigned work area.

Creates, maintains, and updates specified database and or spreadsheet information on a regular basis.

Knowledge of mortgage regulations and compliance applicable to mortgage lending and processing requirements.

Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and handle problem resolution.

Experience in multi-tasking, meeting strict deadlines, dealing with sensitive information, and problem resolution while providing exceptional service.

Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and all internal systems as affiliated with the department.

Effectively communicate with internal and external customers appropriately via in person, email etc.

Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively communicate.

Ability to consistently and effectively manage a loan pipeline of up to 70 loans

Manage the placement, tracking and receipt of appraisal, title, and flood orders

Supervise and manage rate lock expiration, lender commitment, and settlement dates

Apply knowledge of the various government forms and worksheets associated with Mortgage Financing

Manage member inquiries in regards to loan status while in process

Excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills required.

Is able to order verifications (income, assets, credit, liabilities) to verify accuracy of information stated on loan application

Two or more years of loan processing experience or

Xinnix Training completion for Processing required AND Processing mentor assigned by branch with 2+ years active processing experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Organizational skills necessary to prioritize workload

Verifies, compiles, and inputs/updates application information for mortgage loans

Communicate with borrowers, lenders and appropriate vendors to obtain information per requirements associated with loan

Manages a pipeline of loans in process to promote quality service and efficient loan closings

Associates Degree or equivalent mortgage processing or legal office real estate closing experience required

Proficient reading, writing, grammar and mathematics skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Research and problem solving skills

Demonstrate superior communication skills (both written and verbal)

Solid business competencies and computer skills

1-3 Years mortgage experience is required

This position is not remote

Liaison between borrower, loan officer, underwriter, closer, and third-party companies

The loan file contains proper documents, disclosures, signatures, and dates.

Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task in fast paced environment

Ordering documentation to include: credit report updates, appraisals, title reports, insurance, fraud reports, flood certifications, income and asset verifications.

Submitting and resubmitting efficient files to underwriting while meeting timeline requirements

Excellent computer skills. Encompass 360 a plus

Excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills

Basic Products knowledge and ability to research guidelines independently

Maintains knowledge of Portfolio, Investor and private mortgage insurance underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Decisions loans within lending authority adhering to bank and investor guidelines and requirements.

Has a thorough knowledge of loan origination system and related vendor services.

Demonstrates a complete understanding and use of Desktop Underwriter for credit decisions on all loans.

Reviews and analyzes DU Findings on all types of loans. This includes restructuring for possible better findings and applicable pricing.

Acts as primary Underwriter for secondary market and portfolio loans including construction, blanket, self-employed and combo loan applications

Conducts weekly pipeline meetings with loan officers and management.

Coordinates communications between members, realtor, attorney, seller, and appraisal management firm.

Assumes responsibilities for related duties as required or assigned.
