- Assumes responsibilities for related duties as required or assigned.
- Provides back-up to other Real Estate Lending staff as needed.
- Orders appraisals, if applicable, flood determinations, private mortgage insurance, tax transcripts, SSA89, credit supplements, and title reports.
- Requests payoffs and updated insurance declaration pages showing desired mortgagee clause.
- Orders master policies and condo documentation from various home owner associations as needed for condo loans.
- Conducts weekly pipeline meetings with loan officers and management.
- Provides members and Real Estate Lending personnel with quality mortgage loan processing according to the credit union's policies, practices, and procedures. Keeps abreast of all Fannie Mae underwriting guidelines as required.
- Obtains all needed deposit, income & employment verifications for loan packages.
- Coordinates communications between members, realtor, attorney, seller, and appraisal management firm.
- Prepares loan underwriting package for submission to underwriter.
- Complies with Credit Union Policies and Procedures, as well as regulatory compliance.
- Obtains all needed documents from the member, real estate agents, and any other 3rd party as necessary to fulfil loan approval requirements.
