This is not your typical processor position as you are responsible for the complete mortgage process for both 1st and 2nd mortgage products from initial application through loan closure. Responsibilities include

• Strong critical Thinking for a fast-paced and multi-tasked department
• Actively manage pipeline daily.
• Issues proper disclosures as required by federal and state regulatory compliance.
• Perform routine administrative and operational tasks
• Take loan application by interviewing members to identify needs and determine appropriate mortgage product.
• Prepare files and orders all necessary third party services
• Follow up with both borrowers and third parties to ensure the file advances through the process to ensure that no delays with closings occur.
• Keeps informed of current trends in lending.
• Ensures pricing is accurate and loan is processed and closed in accordance with company policy.
• Prepares and/or reviews all loan documents for completeness, accuracy and acceptability against loan conditions.
• Must have a strong understanding of refinance & purchase transactions
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and program applications

Skills/ Requirements

• Must know TILA-RESPA (TRID LE & CD), HMDA, QM & ATR rules.
• Proficiency with DU/LP, Calyx Point, Outlook and Microsoft Office including Excel
• 3+ years recent mortgage processing experience required
• Excellent time management and organizational skills are required
• An understanding of FHA, FNMA, Freddie Mac, investor guidelines and procedures for processing mortgages is essential.
• Clean Credit Required
