Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist Certificate (LMRT) or Certification for similar Radiologic Technology Program

Reviews patient orders, image requests, and patient questions.

Performs image procedures while upholding IHS patient service quality standards.

Obtains patients' histories from electronic records, patient interviews, dictated reports, or communicating with referring clinicians.

Prepares comprehensive interpretive reports of findings. Perform or interpret the outcomes of diagnostic imaging procedures, including magnetic resonance imaging.

Reviews or transmit images and information using picture archiving or communications systems.

Required Licensure/Certification: Limited Scope X-ray Operator's certification from the State of Colorado. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.

Preferred: Medical Assistant certification or registration.

1 year Medical Assistant experience preferred

1 year limited scope x-ray technician experience preferred

Knowledge of Urgent vs Emergent Care.

Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.

Ability to use critical analytical thinking skills to identify and solve problems.

High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required

Medical Assistant Credential (CMA or RMA) or equivalent combination of licensure and experience: Preferred

American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) certification: Preferred

Manages scanning of paper records, responds to messages and records calls within scope. Supports prescription refill process with physicians.

Certificate/Diploma from X-ray Technician school: Required

Position patient under X-Ray machine, adjust immobilization devices, and provide appropriate radiation protection

Adjust switches regulating length and intensity of exposure and make minor adjustments to equipment

Administers routine X-Ray exams as ordered by the treating clinician and in accordance with scope of state license

Maintains quality assurance by performing appropriate validity tests and keeping quality assurance records

Performs Department of Transportation and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing

Required Licensure/Certification: Limited Scope X-ray Operator’s certification from the State of Colorado. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.

Preferred: Medical Assistant certification or registration.

Starting wage range is $21.00 to $27.00 per hr.

5-day work week – Monday to Friday – 8 am to 5 pm

Monitor the flow of onboarding patients and delivering routine medical care

Experience in an industrial equipment environment a plus

Applies the knowledge of growth and development to appropriate patient populations.

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. required (if hired after January 1, 2003). Medical Assistant program diploma or Bachelor degree preferred.

RMA certification PREFERRED. Limited X-ray license required

Ensures facility paperwork is available and actively participates in the admission process (i.e., patient arrival/check-in for clinic visit).
