Monitors and enforces safety requirements

Be proactive in answering radio calls and conducting all aspects of the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and control systems

Communicate with other maintenance shifts to ensure proper pass down of maintenance related issues

Develop and maintain an effective working relationship between maintenance and other departments to ensure customer deadlines are met

Adhere to all food safety and quality policies

Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve productions methods, equipment performance and quality of product

Maintains appropriate service and repair records, prepares paperwork and keeps stock of repair parts.

Responds to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service.

Diagnoses and makes repairs on gas, air, and electric-powered tools, such as power saws, drills, air compressors, generators and nail guns.

Reads technical manuals, disassembles and reassembles, and use testing devices, such as ammeters and voltmeters, to identify problems.

Responsible for rebuilding power tools with defective mechanical parts and electrical systems.

Diagnoses and minor repairs to engines, transmissions, components, electrical and fuel systems, etc. for company trucks and trailers

Complete all required quality and food safety checks and document utilizing the required documents or electronic systems

Maintain a food safe work environment by cleaning up spills and maintaining hygenic work conditions

Comply with all GMP, safety, sanitation and any other plant rules as established by the company

Follow all Food Safety (HACCP), & GMPs policies

Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
