3-5 years experience as a journalist and/or writer in media, marketing, or advertising

Excellent short-form and long-form writing skills in a variety of voices and tones to work across various mediums

Excellent grasp of grammar, AP style, and familiarity with AA conformance requirements (or a willingness to learn)

Solid editing and proofreading capabilities

Copywriting experience is a big bonus but not required

Using project management software to successfully juggle numerous projects at a given time

Demonstrating knowledge of both AP, APA, and MLA style guides in addition to propriety and client style guides

Desired: 3-5 years of editing work experience

Editing or proofing of marketing material

Cooperation with global in-house editorial colleagues

Ensuring content is prepared according to strategy goals and conforms to editorial guidelines

Experience supporting federal budget, program planning an execution, and federal financial management experience.

Implement and maintain management control systems required to plan, organize, direct, and control activities

Develop and implement a Project Management Plan (PMP), Staffing Plan, and as appropriate Transition Plans

BA/BS or Master's in English, Communication, Business, Management, Social or Political Science.

BA/BS + 15 years of relevant experience or Master's + 10 years of relevant experience.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing similar contracts.
