Track and investigate instances of non-compliance with global law enforcement, privacy, cybersecurity requirements; prepare related internal reports; and manage corrective actions.

Support other legal functions, including litigation, contract management, and general legal and regulatory compliance.

3+ years of legal experience as an analyst or paralegal in a law firm or in-house setting supporting legal/regulatory compliance.

Experience working directly with government agencies, regulators, and managing outside counsel.

Respond to Starlink consumer complaints.

Advise, educate, and train internal stakeholders and employees on compliance programs for law enforcement, privacy, cybersecurity, and related matters.

Second or third-year law student. Media & Entertainment knowledge is a plus

Excellent legal research and writing skills

Must have knowledge of Lexis/Nexis computer research system

Must be able to handle complex and challenging assignments with short turnaround deadlines

Conduct legal research and analysis

Prepare memorandums and executive summaries of issues

Principal Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the legal field.

Bachelors degree and at least one year of law school education.

Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of bioMérieux’s Quality System.

Performs various tasks assign by Supervisor to assist in their projects.

Complies with legal and company ethics policies.

Monitor and research compliance related laws, regulations and legislative updates pertaining to Live Nation Entertainment

Proactively identify and discuss emerging compliance issues with the Compliance team, while also developing and preparing compliance reporting as necessary.

Assist with drafting appropriate policies and practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws & regulations.

Assist with routine compliance review to ensure that regulatory and legal compliance procedures are followed, and remediated as appropriate.

Assist the Compliance team with implementing the recommendations and action items resulting from reviews and new law updates.

Bachelor's degree and current enrollment in accredited law school

A high school diploma and six (6) years of experience in quality improvement and risk management or compliance auditing.

Detects and advises management of risks.

Assists Assistant Division Director in training analysts in assigned areas to ensure understanding of QIRM processes and compliance auditing.

Analyze data using statistical techniques and produce comprehensive reports.

Use Excel and statistical process control software to analyze and present data.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Assist with the preparation of presentations to senior executives regarding the status of current legal issues.

Must have completed two years of law school by June 2024 and currently pursuing a law degree.

The Intern should have related experience/background/course work/other indicia of interest in the fields of technology, media, entertainment, or similar industries

Prior law firm/judicial internship or related internship experience is a plus

Possess excellent legal research and writing skills.

Work one-on-one with GLAD attorneys on research assignments.

Attend GLAD’s Legal Department meetings other case/project-related meetings.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and controls.

Participate in internal audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to established standards.

Solid planning, organizational, project management and communication skills

1-3 years of compliance, legal or related experience in the financial services industry

Compliance certification such as CRCP or IACCP is a plus

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Assist compliance team with reviewing employee personal trading, outside business and gift and entertainment activities, including periodic attestations

Conduct ongoing compliance program testing and monitoring

Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail.

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, and ability to learn other basic computer programs.

7+ years of law firm/corporate law department experience in litigation management/support

In-house training courses ranging from leadership development to basic computer skills
